Why 180 exists

Change begins when the story beneath the struggle becomes visible.

Eddie has spent his career helping people understand the beliefs and protective responses that quietly shape their choices, relationships, recovery, and sense of self.

His approach is collaborative, culturally responsive, and grounded in cognitive-behavioral concepts. Clients can expect honest reflection, practical tools, and a therapeutic relationship that makes room for both compassion and accountability.

In 2023, Eddie founded 180 Counseling Group LLC to bring that work into an independent practice—and to create books, relationship frameworks, educational programs, and community partnerships that extend support beyond the therapy room.

Eddie serves clients in Bradenton, Ellenton, and throughout Manatee County, with virtual care available across Florida.

His work includes individual counseling services, couples counseling in Bradenton and Ellenton, and addiction counseling and recovery support.

What clients can expect

Collaborative does not mean passive.

Eddie listens carefully, but the work does not stop at being heard. Sessions are designed to create clarity, test beliefs against evidence, and translate insight into decisions and behavior.

01

Respect

Your experience is approached without judgment, performance, or pressure to disclose before you are ready.

02

Precision

The work looks beyond vague labels to the specific thoughts, emotions, patterns, and context affecting your life.

03

Movement

Reflection is connected to practical skills, choices, and follow-through outside the session.

A different direction can start here.
